About

I'm a security architect. For the past five years I've advised large financial services, enterprise, and energy-sector organizations on governance, risk, compliance, and AI security. That work keeps pulling me toward the same questions: why known risks get underweighted, and what happens when a system's failure spreads into systems it depends on.

I studied cybersecurity at the University of Mary Washington. I hold CompTIA Security+ and MITRE ATT&CK Defender certifications.

Short bio

Tyler Imanian is an Enterprise Security Architect at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he advises financial services, enterprise, and energy-sector clients on governance, risk, and compliance, AI security, and risk management. His research examines why known risks go unprioritized in complex systems, and how threat modeling and security operations can keep pace as AI is built into critical infrastructure. He holds a B.S. in Cybersecurity from the University of Mary Washington.
